New Eid Postage Stamps, 2013

New Eid Postage Stamps, 2013 are introduced recently by the U.S post office. These stamps play a vital role in the celebration of Eid festival which is at the end of this holy month “Ramadan”.  These stamps are readily purchased by Muslims and now for the sake of easiness, these postage stamps are available on the internet and you can purchase them online to use on Eid Cards.

New forever Eid stamp has new appearance as well as it shows the phrase, “be blessed” for Muslims who enjoy eid festival two times in a year. Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. For this Eid, new postage stamp of green back ground is unique in its appearance and it shows the well known blessing of the Eid day; ‘may your religious holidays be blessed’.

According to the calligraphy, old stamp which was issued in 2011 has blue back ground with golden color calligraphy and it relates to the Mohammad Zakariya of Arlington, Virginia.  For the preparation of these paintings hand drawing was used but with an introduction to the computers, new techniques are now used in the market to design various stamps. This year the new stamp is designed by a modern calligrapher Phil Jordan.
